As the crowd filed in for the start of the Peter Frampton concert, what one noticed was the wide variety of ages in attendance, from teenagers to ones old enough to have seen Frampton during his Humble Pie days. It may have been my imagination but I thought the smell of marijuana wafted past me before Frampton even got on stage. The crowd was in very good spirits that evening.
Prior to the start of the concert the announcer made several announcements including that the performance would be over three hours and if Peter could do it, so could you!
Frampton came on stage to a thunderous applause from the crowd and started the concert off with “Something’s Happening” and “Doobie Wah” as images of him from his youth were displayed behind the band.
